Blú‘s owners were looking for a logo that could be represented in one colour where needed (on napkins, receipts & other consumables) but also a version that used shades of the colour blue for use as their main design.
The logo was created with the intent of it feeling modern and to emphasise the two standalone bars in addition to the restaurant (hence the wine glass icon in the design). The shades of blue were chosen to reflect the beach-front location and focus on seafood that the restaurant specialise in.
Variations of the logo have been used around the restaurant, including a silver version for the outdoor bar area.
Designed from an idea the founder had, Lady Tonic‘s logo was designed to come across as feminine yet bold.
Lady Tonic provides a variety of beauty solutions from online & offline courses to uniquely branded brow & lash products. As such, the logo needed to be diverse & simple enough to fit on many different types of packaging & products (also designed by acerockcola) while additionally being able to maintain a strong look in a digital setting as the majority of their new client base come from social media.
Lady Tonic‘s logo is by default a pink icon & font with a blue background, but is reversed for their ‘Pro’ product range in order to keep brand consistency. Lady Tonic’s logo and design also appear on bags, certificates, tablecloths, rollup banners, jelly & serums.
As an osteopath, OV‘s logo was designed with wellness in mind.
The first letter ‘O’ is a composition of a woman’s head with her eyes closed in a state of relaxation while using the company’s original colour scheme.
The letter ‘O’ when isolated is also used as the main icon for the brand.
Several versions of the logo (including a two-line variant) are also used when required and all logos also have ‘reversed’ iterations for use when the environment suits.
81 Films‘ logo (stylised as 81films) compresses of a simple monotone enclosed circular design as its primary use is as a watermark in the company’s videos & films.
Several variants (including a version with the company web address) were made and in addition to its use on digital media, business cards and social media, the logo is also used on the clothing the staff wear on location.
The backdrop of the circle can be white, black or transparent to suit the type of video where it is overlayed as a watermark.
Prior to rebranding, Dundee City Pipe Band had a fairly old-fashioned logo.
The new logo is designed to represent a bagpipe – their main instrument; and to also include the letters D & P for Dundee & Pipe Band.
Since tartan is often used as a background for the logo, it was designed as a single-coloured icon that can be easily altered to suit the environment that it’s being used on.
An expanded logo with the words ‘Dundee City Pipe Band’ was also created for external use.
Sometimes a client will have no high-quality or print-ready version of their existing logo available due to the files being misplaced over time (or if one was never created in the first place).
Defusion Utility Services only had a small jpeg version of their logo available and required a proper version for use on their website and elsewhere.
Defusion‘s logo was redrawn as a vector image by acerockcola and remained faithful to the original but now boasted dynamic resizing and a transparent background.
